The Rondthaler Circle, Salem's Legacy Society
Academy and College alumnae, parents and friends who support Salem with a planned gift are welcomed into Salem's legacy society, The Rondthaler Circle. This special giving circle was created to honor the spirit of philanthropy that has nurtured and sustained Salem for over two hundred years.
The Rondthaler Circle is named after Howard E. Rondthaler, who served as president of Salem College and Salem Academy from 1909-1949. During his tenure he retained the values and traditions which made Salem a learning experience synonymous with educational excellence in a nurturing environment.
To become a part of this dedicated group, you can name Salem as a beneficiary of a retirement account, a will, or trust. You can also name Salem as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a donor advised fund. This is a gift that costs nothing today, but will make a difference tomorrow.
