THE RONDTHALER CIRCLE, SALEM'S LEGACY SOCIETY

Our Salem community is already the beneficiary of many gifts entrusted to Salem Academy and College by the forethought and generosity of many alumnae, families, faculty, staff, and friends. This special giving circle was created to recognize and honor the spirit of philanthropy that has nurtured and sustained Salem for over two hundred years.

The Rondthaler Circle is named after Howard E. Rondthaler, who served as president of Salem College and Salem Academy from 1909-1949. During his tenure he retained the values and traditions which made Salem a learning experience synonymous with educational excellence in a nurturing environment.

When your gift is realized and comes to Salem, the gift proceeds will be used according to your documented and stated wishes. At Salem Academy and College, we have a long history of thoughtful endowment gifts and other designated funds which help to support the operation of our spaces and grounds; fund scholarships and faculty; and support academic departments and programs. Undesignated gifts provide Salem with funds to meet current priorities and unexpected opportunities. Your legacy will make the impact you desire.

  • 5. Can someone help me prepare a will or estate plan?
